Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to develop financial plans and analyze variances.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate annual audits and tax filings.
  • Provide financial analysis and guidance to senior management to support decision-making.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification.
  • Proven experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred.
  • Experience with ERP and system implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of motivating and developing team members.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
