A head restraint such as the Head Scoop, or Head Sweep or Neck Extenders if you have a hydraulic crush will help keep the animal’s head still and in place.
The Calf Restrainer Bar tucks into the hip joint, immobilizing the hip and securely containing the animal, so you can brand, band or trim with ease!
The Calf Restrainer Bar safely restrains calves or lively cattle by tucking into the hip joint, immobilizing the hip and securely containing the animal.
Add a Sternum Bar to your crush to provide additional sternum support. By limiting space at the bottom of the crush, the bar helps keep cattle upright and prevents them from going down in the crush.
Add a Rubber Neck Cushion Kit to your crush to help reduce the chance of shoulder bruising in the yoke gate while adding to creature comfort.
The Bull Catcher adds a focused pressure point to the yoke gate and makes catching and securing bulls, and even cows and calves much easier!
The Calf Restrainer Bar provides excellent access for branding, trimming and banding.
Try installing Race Stops in your raceway. These stops ensure that your cattle will not be able to back up in your raceway and are especially useful if placed directly behind your crush to prevent overcrowding.
Consider adding the Bull Catcher to your yoke gate. Even though it’s called the “Bull Catcher,” that doesn't mean it’s only useful for catching and securing bulls. By adding a focused pressure point to the yoke gate, it helps secure even the smallest calves in the yoke gate.
Cattle often back up, stand still or overcrowd each other in a race due to a lack of flight zone access. Cattle love light and are naturally drawn toward it. With Arrowquip's 3E technology incorporated into the Easy Flow Races, you're able to adjust the paneling to be high on one side and low on the other with Easy Flow Removable Race Panels. This ensures that cattle don't get distracted and gives you unobstructed access to cattle’s flight zones.
