Government TB Testing Regulations

As per the Government of UK website’s tuberculosis testing guidelines, your testing and handling facilities must:

Allow safe movement of cattle;
Include a suitable handling system (such as a crush and penning system linked by a secure race);
Make it easy for inspectors to restrain and examine cattle, clip their hair, measure the skin with calipers, and give them injections;
Be in good working order;
Be suitable for the size and breed of cattle that have to be tested; and
Be well-lit so inspectors can read ear tags and carry out the test.

    Engineered For Transport

    Towing is one of the biggest differences in the new mobile cattle handling system. The entire unit folds up into a compact and secure package for travel, ensuring your equipment will get to your destination safely. The enhanced frame features 51mm x 153mm beams on the top, and 76mm x 76mm beams on the bottom for structural integrity, and setup when you get to your location only takes a matter of minutes with our NEW fully Hydraulic Jack system.

    The collapsible forcing pen on all Arrowquip mobile cattle handling units has been completely redesigned to be truly compact. The pen is folded in a way that shortens the unit by up to 1727mm when towing. This brilliant engineering has made the NEW 18' race unit the same length as the previous Q-Catch 86 Series Portable Cattle Crush, 8' Race & Forcing Pen model was!

  • Needle door drop down bar for TB testing

    Designed for TB Testing

    The Q-Catch 87 Series mobile cattle crush, race and forcing pen is an ideal solution for TB testing, as it offers ideal access to the neck of the animal. The 324mm TB access area right at the front of the crush allows your testing personnel and vets to easily access the neck of your cattle to complete SICCT testing. This access is available on both sides of the crush, ensuring that you can complete testing quickly and effectively. An added bonus with the Q-Catch is that it is a low-stress environment for your livestock, so handling them regularly will not cause unnecessary stress.

    NEW 18' Easy Flow Alley

    The NEW 18' Race section turns your mobile cattle crush, race and forcing pen into a fully portable handling system. By providing enough space for you to move all cattle out of the pen and into the race, it provides the capacity you need to move your cattle though the system without having to stop and start the flow of cattle repeatedly.

    The Easy Flow Cattle Race sections are equipped with our patent-pending 3E technology which helps to draw cattle in the right direction using light. Two removable panels on each race section can be moved into multiple positions to control what cattle see, giving you enhanced control of cattle movement.

    Also available in an 8' race model.

    Q-Catch 87 Series Cattle Crush

    You'll have maximum control, safety, and efficiency even when you'e working cattle alone with the NEW Q-Catch 87 Series at the front of the system. The world's quietest manual cattle crush is at your fingertips, so you're guaranteed a quiet cattle handling experience anytime, anywhere.

3E BudFlow® vs Forcing Pen

The new 3E BudFlow® system allows cattle to see more light, which enhances flow through your handling system. The 3E BudFlow forcing pen is designed to work with natural cattle behaviour by providing them with extra space to prevent stops and encourage cattle to move into the race seamlessly.

The 180° Forcing Pen provides effective cattle movement from the pen into the race. The sweep gate features a lock out to keep it from moving back towards the farmer when forcing cattle into the race.

    Our Arrowquip squeeze chute is the best chute we have used. We are older ranchers and needed a chute that is safe and easy to use. We can easily work our herd of 200 cows and calves safely and efficiently! We love the access doors on both sides of the chute and the ability to catch the cow from behind instead of in front of her. The rump bars are wonderful! No more sore hands from trying to reach the cow from small drop down bars AND no more hitting our heads on handles that stick out from the chute! The Arrowquip can squeeze a cow so she does not move. We absolutely love our Arrowquip squeeze chute with vet cage!

  • 5 Robert Merryman

    Had arrowquip crushes for the last 12 years just bought a 74 series mobile handling system couldn’t be more happier with it makes handling cattle a joy arrowquip have thought about absolutely everything

  • 5 Darren

    Great product. Love the head holder

  • 5 Allen Sieverkropp

    I have aberdeen cattle. the chute works very good for smaller framed cattle. great flow into the head catch. We had the vet out and he was amazed how fast we worked the cattle probally a 1/3 less time.

  • 5 Alex Templeton

    For years we had been using the same old chute and alley and always struggled with efficiency. We had been wanting to switch to ARROWQUIP for years, and finally made it happen this fall! Having quality portable equipment has been a game changer for us, as we have cattle in several different counties here in Missouri. The chute, alley, and tub fold up easily and haul down the road great. Probably my favorite thing about this set up is how easily just my dad and I can work cattle with it. We don't have a big crew working with us, so our efficiency has more than doubled since investing in an ARROWQUIP. Never lookin' back now!
